How do I get there?
By car: there is accessible parking for disability parking permit holders on Aughtie Drive, between Lakeside Stadium and the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. Meter parkng is also available here and at MSAC.
By public transport: from Southern Cross Station, take the Number 12 or Number 96 trams. The Number 12 tram will take you Aughtie Drive, then it’s a short stroll to the front of the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. The Number 96 tram will take you to the rear of the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. It’s then a short walk to Aughtie Drive.
Will there be food?
There will be a Great Aussie BBQ at the event, drinks and snacks. Some seating and tables will be available. Food is also available to purchase at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
You are also welcome to bring a picnic and relax on the lawn on your own rug, taking in the delightful entertainment.
Does it cost money to use the MSAC facilities?
If you are part of the Out & About Fun Day, no, but you will need to wear an Out & About wristband, which can be collected on the day from the information tent.
What time is Ross Wilson performing?
1pm on the Main Stage.
What is the Mission Possible?
The Mission Possible passport lists all the activities available at the Out & About Family Fun Day. As you complete each activity, get it marked off in the passport by an official and then when you've completed the passport take it to the information tent to go into the draw to win one of two fantastic prizes.
